Water clarity

I have a 100 gall pond and have just replaced the bulb in the UV.The water is not clearing after two weeks.I intended to clean the main filter but when doing so found that the sponges were not dirty or clogged even though I had not cleaned them for a year.I have a home made prefilter which is clogging with algae and needs the batting cleaned every ten days or so.Can anyone please help

Is the water green? Or tea colored?

Slightly green but overly and not improving

Do you have plants in the pond? I use plants to filter my pond keeps the water real clear.
