I started using it last year as our tap water is basically Clorox! The liquids were costing way too much so switched to this. So far, so good and a jar should last a long time.

thanks a lot for the feedback, that was what I figured when reading how many gallons this treats verses the liquids, its just unreal, one jar pays for about 10+ of the liquid ones

The jar I got this year says it treats 192,000 gallons! I always overtreat because of the high chlorine but this should still last for years.

I just finished digging and filling my pond I have not added fish yet. I have chlorinated water how do you test if your water is high? How often and how much of this product do you add?

I do not test chlorine levels. My water smells like bleach from the tap so I just treat for gallons added during water changes. Follow directions on package.
