Uv filter

quick question I'm thinking of installing a uv filter for my pond. I have a 8000 litre pump. So would the algae have enough time to be killed if it's pumped thru a uv at this flow rate before it goes thru my filter?

It will if you purchase a UV designed for that flow rate. Plan on spending $$$$$.

I would guess a 40 watt UV will be needed. I believe your at 2200 gallons if I did my conversion correct
