Wow Sissy, that turtle is so special! I love those stepping stones that you have going to the bridge, they look like they are cobbled in the pea gravel! Looks really nice Sissy and I just made fresh coffee, wish you were here!

I just made fresh also to sit down and take a rest for a little while .The turtle is huge but i love it .My path on the other side of the front porch is done the same .I just never liked formal walkways the don't look creative .I am now building benches like the log baskets

yeh jw I have 2 turtle spitters and 2 fish and frog spitters and gave up on them because they get plugged up all the time .I thought of putting a hose under his belly and siliconing it in place and putting it on the edge of the pond but figured it would get plugged and i would have to blow it out

Mine the pump only gets plugged at the pre-filter thing so I can just lift it out and pull the crud off. Happens every couple weeks whenever I stir the pond up. The tube is ok and no blowing involved...........had enough of that w/ the gators..........actually that was sucking, I forgot :D

funny but I( have a 3 legged turtle hanging around .He has been here several times .I guess he lives down by the creek and why he comes up here i have no clue .I have had to help him cross the road several times .His one front leg is gone and you can hear him clunking across some of the times .Stupid people here think it is fun to run over the poor guys .He is not a small turtle either ,

hate to say but he is a picky eater he likes broccoli and corn on the cob but does not seem to touch the cauliflower or lettuces I put out for him .I have tried to get a pic but even with 3 legs he moves fast .Seems like they need to come up with mini cameras you can wear around your neck at a good price that normal people can afford .snap and you got the pic .
