I have the black stuff but it's the more expensive quality kind that lasts not the cheapo stuff from the box stores. I got mine close to here from a pond building company. I've had it hooked up for over 10yrs underground. Mine's like the one on the left. It's more smooth than spiral but still has some ridge type of looking stuff to it. You can see the lines in it and it's really thick.

I think this is what it is called sometimes:

Flexible PVC pipe (sometimes called spa hose) is thick walled and more resistant to winter freezes than some other types of hose or tubing.

black spiral is hard to connect and mine cracked in several places after only a couple of months go with rubber
