Trash pump suggestion

Its been a few years and I still have a hole in my backyard with no fish.... Wife isn't to happy but the frogs and tadpoles are loving it.

I have the following bottom drain, the hurricane Ii which is quite large. 6ft is tall and across with a 4in drain.

The way my yard is setup I can't do a gravity drain for the trash output on the vortex. I could dump it to where my downspouts go but worried I am wasting good dirty water and also I could clog the downspout drains. So I am thinking I should use a pump so suck the water out of the bottom of the vortex. Ay suggestions on what I should consider? Like stated it has a 4in drain

I know this is an old post but harbor freight sells a dirty water pump that should work.
