Toads are back!

Toads were here last month to spawn & I thought that would be the end of it, because usually they do their thing in one big mass spawning frenzy & then leave. Nope! Not this year. They came back out in force a couple days ago & are having a full second round.
What I pulled out of one skimmer basket yesterday:

The eggs!!!

Great pictures! Hopefully you are able to get them before they get sucked into the pump…that was my nightmare scenario when I lived in Virginia until I netted the top of my skimmer basket.

Thanks. And, yes, I keep the top of the basket constantly covered with screening so the critters can't get into the main body of the skimmer where the pump is.
