I still have some liner to hide, but not my priority as I plan to put a few plants that will cover that soon. That cable comes from a balcony, although the goal is to drill a hole at the end of the balcony so that it is fully hidden and out of sight, and for easier maintenance. I probably will be in the future changing this pump though, as it's not really perfect in terms of no maintenance, it gets dirty, then I have to pull it out which isn't that fun.
My long term goal would be to have it be so that essentially a waterfall comes from under the balcony, but this would be with a different system, not with this submersible pump. I recently expanded this, before it was smaller and pretty hard to do anything with it in terms of maintenance, moreover the previous build I had was not bad but it was very steep and ironically the smaller the tougher to clean, so last month I had rebuilt it and expanded it, now it's around 2.3m-2.3m I think, more or less. I would have gone further to the right but there's a fruit tree there, it seems all but dead but it still fruits, and there's a tree to the left of the pond also which is good for shade I suppose in the summer.
Always regrets when building it, but this 2nd build went pretty smooth for me, although I should have gone a bit deeper but next time maybe.
