View attachment 3935On another post some of you asked to see my "big" pond where the turtle invaded. I thought I'd show you how I first got into the pond business. This goldfish pond was a solution for a landscaping area behind a retaining wall and among trees at the corner of my house just outside our master bedroom windows. It was too dry there for plantings to thrive. I built this pond after reading from websites like this one. I can hear the stream at night in the bedroom when all is quiet and the pond light illuminates a perftect amount of "night light" outside my window.
It's my only attempt at a small ornamental pond. I've since added water lilies, too.
