The pond extracter

Hello pond people

Anyone who has some experience with this "protein skimmer/extractor" here:

I would like to know if there is really coming any foam out of it?

I like the concept because it seems like you do not have to add an air pump or ozone, and its much cheaper than Clarity fractionators (which I would also think is much better but overkill for my small pond).

I have so far not found any really usefull reviews.
