When I hear people answer like yours, Colleen, I have to wonder if you are worried about something that is wrong, and don't want to face it, don't have insurance, or simply have a phobia about doctors. I knew a woman who smoked a lot, had all her life, and refused to go to the doctor ever. One day she will have lung cancer, and I think she knows it, and then she will deal with it. The sad part is that her kids will have to deal with the worst part of their mother's life. But, I guess that's her life, and I have no reason to interfere. She used to work in our office, and when there were free blood screenings provided, I jumped on the chance, she said "no way!". Other than smoking, I don't know of anything else. Guess she didn't want a lecture about quitting. As to the procedure, yep, it's a good purging. Seems like my body is "cleaning out" last couple of days anyhow, maybe getting pre-ready! I've had one before, and there is no pain, it's just the prepping for it that everyone despises. I will drink that stuff grudgingly and have my test, and then have the rest of the day off! :)
