How hard is it to keep them with koi

most species of sturgeon are on the endangered list there by probably making them illegal to keep anyway.

i see them at stores all the time and online...and im sure its ok if i get it from a hatchery too
so how hard is it to keep them with Koi

a guy around here sells them 18" for $45.00 and you have to sign a fish and wildlife or game contract with the govement.

but they will grow 5'+ in your pond so you need a big pond. they'll eat small koi and you could get 2 koi and have less cleaning.

but they will do fine with big koi. eat the same food.

it wouldnt be too hard to get them the food with the aggressive eating of the koi?

i think any big fish will eat a small one that fits in there mouth. you don't want fry or a two inch koi with 3ft koi or it may be on the menu!:eek2::skull::100:

If i had a big enough pond i would get Sturgeon, Alligator Gars, and Arapaima:coolgleema:

Yeah i agree with you. Koi fish are peaceful and they don't eat other fishes except their small children :icon_mrgreen:

Unless your koi are big don't even try it.
