Spring Bullfrog at the pond

Spring is here the the Bullfrogs are starting to come out. This little guy was out yesterday on the edge of the pond.

We saw our resident bullfrog for the first time this year on April 1st. We believe she's a female who we call Freddie (Frederica). This will be her third year gracing us with her beauty. With temperatures here in the 60s yesterday, she spent the entire day sunning herself on one of the rocks at the pond's edge.

Bullfrog? or maybe a Green Frog (pretty sure I'm seeing a dorsolateral ridge) Ours have been making appearances, too.

Looking closer you could be right. I usually get bullfrogs more so then the green. Thanks
