Spawning in the mini cattails

Today has been a lot of spawning in the water parsley and mini cattails

Are they putting their eggs in there? Do you expect to have many survive?

They sure do like that spot...................no more room at the Inn. Lots of babies if they don't get hors d'oeuvred

If it is like last year many will survive. I have about 40 young ones from last year. Some have great colors already but they are still very small.

Thanks, they called it water parsley at the pond store, it grows very easy.

Oh okay, I was wondering if its the same plant that I grow in a container during the summer for my critters. I will check for it when I go to the pond shop.
