At first I thought you added on to your pond lol. Great as always!

Here's one in my back yard. Do they eat fish? This guy seemed to be eating bugs. I don't think this is a great egret, just a regular one? No fancy feathers on this guy.

I did a google, looks like we have all types of egrets here. I've seen some really big ones in the yard, but they have never gone to the pond. Tonight I did see a black-necked stilt (Himantopus mexicanus) next to the pond for the first time. Thank goodness for my net! The word is out - free fishhhhhhhh!
