And it holds water, what now?

It's a long rectangle planter, I sealed the bottom holes, and about 8 gallons, 24x8x10"
Should I try to bury it? It's really windy here, will that bother it? It's been unusually cool this year, in the 40-70's so far, although there have been random days of 80-90's. Are there any plants I can stick in there now? How do I plant said plants? I randomly have 5+ dwarf water lillies in a 1 gallon bowl, when can I add some of those?

Help please :D (and thank you)

I don't think you need to bury it but you could if you want. I put kitty litter the clay kind from wal-mart in my water plants pots. Wind is gonna knock stuff around tho unless you have a spot w/ some protection. I think you could put the water lilies out there now. It's not freezing anymore so anything should be just fine to put out there now. Might want to put some plant food tabs in there cuz you don't have fish poo to fertilize them right..........no fish? Oh and wind I don't think will bother the plants that are growing just on the waters surface like the lilies unless you have some really powerful winds.

These are dwarf tropicals, so I'm a bit iffy...even though I've had them growing perfectly happy in 60 degree water. I want thinking about using garden soil capped with some gravel, since in my aquariums, it grows plants really well. Also, I was thinking guppies with one larger fish to control the population.

I was going to put it out on my porch where it gets some afternoon sun, is that ok, or do I need to find a sunnier spot?

most flowering plants need at least 6 to 8 hours of sun a day .my lilies have not bloomed yet and not many leaves but it is still early and hoping for some .
