with such warm weather we've been having in N. Virginia, I didn't need to break ice to take this picture of a skiff I completed yesterday. In the old days, lobstermen would throw a few gallons of white paint inside the hull and swish it around with mops, then doing the outside. Most model boats you see are white outside and wood varnish inside. Mine is more a realistic working boat.

Eventually I'll try and get a little boatman (or lady) to row the boat and take a video

gnomes are pretty obedient, you tell them to sit and they sit. It's hard to get them to do trick

Here's the skiff being drug out of the lake, the gnomes are good at following orders
