been storms just about everyday and what gets me no rain just bad wind and lightening and thanks for the welcome back .It has been a long long week but at least it is not as bad as other places with fires and flooding so can't complain to much This is the first day we have not seen a storm and it was over a 100 degrees and supposed to be like that saturday and sunday .i still consider my self lucky and then cool down next week by what they say to the high 80's .

Welcome back, we had one of those weird thunder/lighting/no rain storms. Hated it, just a big tease a town about 2 hours from here was out of power for like 3 days because of it.

We have been getting those storms since the first one and sometimes even twice a day and not an once of rain here but every one else is getting rain around us .I just hope the next couple of days gets over fast so we can get back down in the 80's again .We are supposed to get rain monday so hope so .

Thank you and we have had some really strong heat storms ever since the big storm .I just wish they would bring a little rain .I guess there are lots of people out there with flooding right now that would love to send us there rain .I get worried about forest fires since that is what is all around me .I guess I have nothing to complain about compared to all the people without electricity .AEP power handles all the power just a mile from my house .I live on the Henry County /Pittsylvania County line and almost all of Axton is in Henry County except for the small area where I live .I feel lucky there .

yeh we just got knocked out again and lost power for 2 hours and only a sprinkle of rain .High winds took down a tree .It did get a little cooler so that is nice . :razz:
