Seen a new fish in my pond

I've a pond approx 3'deep n 6'x6'. I homed 5 homeless goldfish years ago. A mixed bunch n one was a horrid heart shape with a trailing tail. Well I've hundreds now of many shapes n colours. I've just seen a fish with a white mouth and barbels on its chin. How is this possible.

Somehow it sounds like a catfish or something got in the mix! Could someone have placed some fish in your pond when you weren't looking?

Or one of your 'goldfish was really a koi/hybrid. Can you get a closeup pic?
