This may exist already on the site (my computer skills are abysmal) but I was wondering if anyone with experience puts out a seasonal 'should be doing' list.
I guess this might be difficult as temperatures etc vary and people are located all over the globe.
I would appreciate this if it were posible.
For eg. I live in Northern England and I wonder what I should do with my floaters (basic- frogs bit amd water hyacinth) and my deeper plants (basic- water lily bought this year in a basket and a water hawthorn.
Stuff like, should I take them out and keep them in a bucket over winter ? Should I cut the leaves and stems off back to the pots?
Will the floaters survive?

Also... pictures of where to take clippings on a plant, and where to cut a plant back to keep it in check?

Sorry if Im bombarding in one thread....

Lastly,
Again I guess it depends on where you live very much but an input on what are good insects and what to get rid of would be good.

Im very very new and have so many questions and I appreciate that this ask may be too generalised.

All good ?s
You still have some time and they all can be answered
I cut all my plants back and leave them in the bottom of my pond through the winter
If your pond is deep enough that it wont freeze all the way down it would work for you
your floaters will need to go inside
