We all know you can use electrical conduit fitting for DIY bulkheads but cutting gaskets can be time consuming.

I cut some gaskets for 2" pipe using a cricut expression and scrap 45 mil EPDM rubber.

A foot square sheet of the material was glued to the mat using Elmers Spray Adhesive.

I used MTC to create the design and cut it, 4 passes (try 3 first), medium speed, and max pressure and a deep cut blade. You might do ok with a regular blade.. The design file for 9 gaskets. Change the file name from bulkhead.txt to bulkhead.mtc.

I should add the Cricut is a cnc scrapbook cutter made by Provocraft. Provocraft has sued MTC and won. As part of the settlement newer version of MTC do not support the cricut. The good news is that MTC supports a long list of similar cutters from other companies. And to be legal I should say Cricut is a registered trademark of Provocraft.

Sweet.

I use curved scissors to cut them by hand. It's fast and works for me. The curve makes cutting in a circle easy. Got them in the drug store.

I should mention this tool for cutting bulkhead holes. It cuts holes from 1 1-1/8-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch.

Vermont American #18401. From $11 to $15 depending on where you shop.
