Rocks to plastic

Would like to cover plastic weir with rocks best adhesive to use. Is silicon sealent strong enough im talking smaller stones maybe 2-3 inches

I use the pl roofing goop. If put on when clean and dry and let it dry it seals well and holds well.
addy1 do you know if you can get something that is clear that works as well as this black product?

Just be aware that if you cover the weir with rocks, the water level flowing over it will be raised. That could cause an overflow. Found that out the hard way!

I was going to add the same caution - some weirs are adjustable I believe, but you do want to be aware of this. Also, rocks will trap debris that would flow right over a smooth weir which could cause the same issue.

Just some things to think about! I definitely understand the desire to cover the plastic though.

I used the PL roofing goop on several in-pond projects, and it worked like a charm. Agree with others, though, about using caution.

Wait a minute...are you talking about the actual weir, or the plastic box. Just to be sure we’re all on the same page, a picture would be helpful.
