So has anyone used Rock on a Roll? If so, how did it look and perform for you? There are a couple areas in our newest pond construction where a product like this may prove rather handy, but I'd like to hear the pros and cons from folks that have actually used it.

In the past, when I've wanted to conceal on sloped or tricky spots, (NOT in contact with the pond water), I've simply used pieces of weed barrier cloth that I have spray painted with camo colored paints. It usually turns out pretty nice, but, something with texture might be a little nicer, with the added bonus of it being safe for direct contact in pond water....

Thanks in advance for your input.

I have used it on my raised ponds. Here's a section of the wall that I covered with it. Also have it on the top edge of the one pond. Its lasted for 8+ years.

As in my case when you try to stuff a edpm liner into a somewhat round, elevated pond you are going to have wrinkles...,.,so I opted for Rock on a Roll.....I won't say it's the best option but it protects my liner from the sun.....and I have to say this my second summer with it and is holding up well.....it has relaxed some and the area above the water line has some biological growth on it making it more natural......its not perfect but if you are not willing to do vertical rock....its a decent alternative
