Hi,
I've rushed into the pond game when I fell in love with a friends pond. As most probably feel I wish I did it all different lol.
5 years on and I'm always adjusting my set up, atm I have a "in pond" pump feeding a pressurized canister filter with a built in u.v. This then runs into a diy three stage barrel filter.
I want to retro fit a bottom drain. My plan is to go from drain to pressurize canister inlet to barrel filters to pump to pond.
I was thinking maybe even going drain to pressurized canister inlet to pump to barrel filters to pond.
Either way, has anyone done this before and is it even possible to connect a pump after a pressurized canister I.e pumping from rather than to the canister?
This is mainly because I'm right and dont want to buy another u.v, it's also easy to clean as a pre filter.
