Ah, with many a pond destined to an uncertain fate, to be choked with unsuitable plants, isn't it good to know a pond does not have to be destined to such a dismal fate

oh? Might have a few rattling about... On days like this, balmy 80's and 90's stuff it's not so bad to drift about to inspect the bees are doing their duly assigned tasks. No need to overdo it of course. Lifting the camera is about as much as you want to do some days

Yups that is the major feature of a pond, reflections, the sky moving across the surface of a clear as crystal pond is a feature you can appreciate and notice over the years

Not so likely to be found very often in a pond wobbling with high fish ratios, algae, blanketweed, invasive plants and who knows what other fate which lurks in an unbalanced pond

A few well chosen varieties, complementary or contrasting colours can help even the most monotonous blue sky setting perk up a tad! So easy to do!

I like the patterns on those lily pads also and of course the lilies are beautiful too!
