Well 3 inches of rain last night and my cover for my aerator slipped off. End result water in my aerator which tripped my GFI. So pump and aerator off last night.
I currently have a pond logic 4 (now drying out) but thinking it might be trashed. I never was happy with the output anyway for my 3000 gal pond. Just wondering what you are using and or would recommend for replacement. Would prefer not to spend a fortune. :)

You can put it in a container of rice sealed for a week and rice will absorb the moisture ,it may or may not work .It worked for my camera which was left out side during a heavy rain storm 3 years ago and it still works to this day .The one I take pics and movies .It is getting old and worn but i love it

Also I bought a laguna last year and it came with the metal 12 port and 2 airstones and air line but wish now for the extra 8 dollars I would have gotten the bigger one with 4 airstones .

Thanks Sissy, we let it dry out some in front of a fan. Bet the rice would work better.
We plugged it back in and its working but it isn't putting out as much air as it did when it was new. I noticed this spring it wasn't working as well as new either.
Its a pond logic. Maybe just not a very good unit. Going to have to get a better one I think. I need something to put out more air then this one does.

I just bought a new aerator this year. It is a Laguna Air Pump Kit 45, PT-1620 ($149.99 from Webb’s Pond Supply). It uses 35 watts and has an output of 793 GPH. One stone placed almost 3 feet down creates enough flow to raise water a couple of inches above the surface. Way too much power for my small pond (1,000 gallons). I use 2 air stones (the air manifold can hold 12), and still have it turned down so there isn't as much water turbulence. It is rated for ponds up to 5,000 gallons, 9 foot deep.

Weve had areators flooded before now and as sissy is saying its not a problem just take the lid off then pack everything in dried rice for a week and your areator will be good to go again .
Our remote thermometer got flooded we gave it the same treatment and thats still working too so if in doubt pack it in rice
As to your reduced airflow the pump isnt driend out a fan doesnt do it completely , you could always order a new diaphram for it , they normally do kits
