Hi all, could you all please settle a debate between me and my wife. I intend on using our well pump for a fountain, she says it’s not possible? I can’t see why not, thanks in advance.

Keep in mind a happy wife means a happy life.
But yes I think people have used something like a well type pump as the part where the water flows back into the tub.
Check all these example's out: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=we...llar-freestanding-fountains-fcl005-64_600.jpg

Your both right but I have to side with the wife you don't want todrain water from a well for no reason and making the well pump pulling up water from. 100's of feet below uses far to much energy.
It's one of those things can it?yes should it?, no .

I thought he was wanting to use just an old well pump that was not in use anymore. Maybe I got it wrong?
