Pump Size to Operate Pond Jets

Hello,

My wife & I are doing a pond rebuild on our old pond. Tomorrow morning we will begin to rock the pond. We put the underlay & liner down late today. We have bought a second pump to operate some jets but now I am wondering if it will be too powerful.

It is a PondMax 7500 caged pump that will sit in the pump vault in the intake bay. So the pump will pump 7500L/H of water or 125L/M. I was thinking maybe having a jet on opposite sides of the pond directed to the middle and there will be a water fall in the middle pushing water to the intake bay opposite.

I have read that you can have too much water movement? We will have gold fish in the pond. I was going to put a DIY Venturi on one of the jets so as to help oxygenate the water. The other jet will just pump water. I thought 2 DIY Venturis might be too much? I plan on using 40mm hosing & jets. Is this too big for the jets or should I add a reducer on them to a smaller size & if so to what size? How many jets could I run off this pump capacity?

I have attached a photo showing in red the proposed water flow.

Hoping someone can help! Kind Regards Paul.
