pump or bottomdrain

hi all am finking of haveing a 8ft x 7ft 5ft deap pond that is still in the planing stage and woundring wether to have a pump or bottom drain what would u all recommend

You would want both. Pump to circulate the water and keep it from being stagnant and a bottom drain to pull the crud off the bottom of the pond. If you had a shallower pond you might not need a drain but 5 feet could be challenging to clean without it. Good luck!

Looking at the depth of your pond it looks like your going to have fish. I would use a bottom drain. With mine there is no cleaning the pond just enjoying it.
