I finally have my piping done in my bog and my retaining waterfall wall. The bog is 3x4 12in. deep. The retaining wall is 10in tall. I'm using 2in pipe with an adapter for the 3/4 in. Pond hose. The tubing will be going over a 1 1/2 ft. tall hill of dirt . My question is which pump should I use, my 800gph or the 3000 gph?

I don't think the 3/4" hose will handle 3000gph! The 800 gallon should be fine but I would use larger pipe to supply the 2" bog pipe.

Any bog will help! I have used multiple window boxes hung on the side of the pond. Now have a 150gal stock tank bog on a 4500 gallon pond along with 4 of the window box bogs!
