Hello everyone, I've been evaluating pumps these past few days and so far my choice is:

http://wlimproducts....pumps&Itemid=16

The item # /model pump of this series that I'm thinking about getting is:
0701-N 2-Speed 3/4 hp
On Low Speed it will pump 3,336 GPH / 2.39 Amps
On High Speed it will pump 6.680 GPH / 8.06 Amps

The pond size for this one will be around 3000 Gal. set up with a 150 Gal. skippy style bio-filter set-up
with waterfall.
I like the idea that this pump comes with a leaf trap and 2" unions.

Thanks in advance for your help...

If your going external I recommend a Sequence pump, high volume, high head, low wattage. Balder HD motors, they do what you listed with 0.25 to 0.33 hp motors.

All depends on how big you want your electric bill, just don't buy a cheap pump or one for a swimming pool.
