Nice looking pond in full operation, what does the wire fence keep out of the pond? Kids? Deer? Dogs?

Thank you. Herons. I live between a canal and they can see my pond from above. I got tired of a net. It has worked pretty the past few years but I had a "friend" visiting this week. He almost figured it out so I had to string a few more lines over the pond. Smart birds.
