I have had such bad luck these days... Starting to think hubby is right about "Pokemon" are at work or something! Couple weeks ago we had a hot water tank quit, then last week something ate half my biggest goldfish out of bottom pond, so that pond looks "bare". Then yesterday afternoon the cable box and Internet just quit. Called the "help line" and still nobody here to fix that.... So hubby looked into the matter himself as he is very addicted to internet. U tube TV these days.... Discovered the cable line was "fried" on the outside of house. So nobody still here to fix that as hubby discovered that connection was "red hot" and he had to use gloves to unscrew cable connection and that cooled off everything.... So went to work and while I was at work, hubby noticed the lights blinking in house like crazy all afternoon. So hubby took the little Rio doggy outside to make a "p" and "there was "arching and sparking" going on in the back yard by power pole next to garage in alley and sparks where flying all over. Good thing it had rained just before or garage could have caught fire. So hubby called the city and they rushed right over and fixed everyrhing.... Except the cable and internet still not working. Cable guy might come tomorrow or Tuesday morning. There must have been a "power transfer" to cable as cable lines have very low electricity usage, but a power transfer may have occurred when the power line was faulty, cause strange that lughts were blinking wildly before. Also they suspect lighting may have fried power cord during wild thunderstorms we have had lately.
