I have always wanted a waterfall and have a great place, but not a huge budget and can't pay someone $10,000 or more to do it for me. I have access to rocks and have a backhoe and muscle to help me. Kits are great (leaning towards a "Russell type"). I know I need a liner, pump, spillway and pipe, but would love recommendations on brands, size?

If your soil is rocky or twigs roots trash you'll also need non woven needle punch fabric.

Watch all the you tube pondless builds you can find I have a couple great one on.page two of some seriously crazy pond builds

Over size each drop make a small pool then have the water split around a rock or over a log . Etc

Backfill the liner to your rocks bring the liner in to the boulders much easier than trying to shrink or stretch stone
