Pond vacuum

Can anyone recommend a pond vacuum for getting the dirt out of the bottom of the pond it’s not a big pond ( raised ) 7ft x 5ft 6 in 2ft deep about 2000 litres my son was going to buy me one a pond hero sludge muncher £100 i read reviews an some are not very good I was looking at a swell uk one about £125 my his budget is around that thankyou

I have a Pond-o-vac. Works well, but there is a huge learning curve…..and it’s not cheap to buy.

I got bottom dwellers and small fish. Pond vacuums are bad for those.

I think it would be pretty difficult to vacuum up any small critters with a Pond Vac as long as the attachments are used. I've never had a problem with that. The little ones as well as the larger ones in the pond get out of the way.

This works if you have fine debris but leaves will block it up fast. If you were fast enough you could grab the blockage and keep you siphon going.
