Pond near well

The planned location for my pond build is potentially changing once again. I originally avoided this area because the well is close by. Anybody have any idea how far from the well a lined pond should be?

far enough away so you can get a repair service's truck backed up to the well so it can be pulled/repaired. Other than that, you have to watch for the electric and house water feed FROM the well, from your pitless adaptor. You should know where these are.

not to mention, if your well ever runs dry, you can just pump from the pond!
