I found a good deal on a 15x20 Pond liner and was wondering what size pond that will make after I make it 2 deep and 3 at the deepest. I get so confused when figuring this sort of thing out..also I am thinking this is a good deal but what do you think?. asking 150.00 45mil .Thanks Amber

At 3 feet deep take away 7 feet to each size, i.e. 8 foot wide 13 feet long. that will give you 1/2 foot on all sides to make your edge out of
At 2 feet deep take away 5 feet to each size, i.e 10 foot wide 15 feet long,

At a combination of 2 and 3 feet go with the first numbers 8x13

That's not too bad a price Amber. You want to check shipping costs as well. I just ordered a 20x20 for $160. Webbs lists the 15x20 for $126. Their shipping is about $ 60.

$150 is about as cheap as you will get that liner in that mil shipped. Pretty good deal if that's the size you want, That's a little less than the cheapest ones shipped I found on ebay for reference.
Addy has the measurements with 6" of over lay all the way around, Which is correct. Personally I would go more on the line of 7' x 12' and give myself a 1' of over lay all the way around, the more pond liners you install the closer you can cut it, as a first install or if not certain I would give myself a little more play just in case the liner is out of center or in case you need to adjust once installed.

He is asking 150 and is local so no shipping..I see it's not a steal but not over the top either..hmm I am cheap and love good deals, maybe I will wait unless he goes down on that price . This isn't/wasn't a planned project but I saw this and thought hey I could build now and keep all my fish.

has anyone seen the new intex pool skimmers that hang off the side of pools and float up and down with a hose attachment on them .25 dollars at big lots they are for pools but man they work great on a pond .I also use those blue float things for pools to float around with the oyster shells in one and the other I sometimes put the salt it and let it slowly soak out of it when I know salt level is a little low .Not sure if anyone ever thought about them that left out a skimmer just may need something on the top to keep fish from being nosy, hair net works great for that
