Hey everyone,

Next week I want to start my project to enlarge my pond. I have spend days worth of time on the internet trying to find a 20' x 25' pond liner, and have been able to do so, but not without finding them with a shipping price that almost equals that of the liner itself.

Is anyone out there from Florida and if so, do you know of anyplace besides HD, Lowes, etc. that carries pond liners that is close to Daytona Beach or Jacksonville that won't cost me an arm and a leg? I continue to find this size liner, EPDM that's 45mil thick for $240 or less on the net, but it's always with a $100 or more shipping cost.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check roofing supply companies or construction companies locally that use it.........that's where I bought mine and have been using it for 10yrs.

It is called Firestone EPDM rubber and it's the same exact stuff that pond liners are made of. Some places want you to think it is different and bad for your fish but that is just their way of making you buy their stuff. Ask for others to reply to this question and you will see that it is true. I always hose my rubber off no matter what just to get any residue of dirt or whatever off to clean it first. I have had mine that I got from a roofing company for a long time and my fish are just fine. Other companies have it also to use in construction of some sort. Check around in your area for roofing companies that sell it. EPDM 45mil rubber or you can buy thicker stuff for more money.

I just checked on it and you're right. I think I found a place that can sell it to me in my price range. I should know for sure tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

I found this one http://www.webbsonline.com/catalog/liner/ for $187.50 and they say the shipping is cheap but I don't know how much for sure. Good luck on your pond build and you will have many years of enjoyment from it for sure.
