Pond filter to match my pump

Last year I purchased an Aqua Force 1000 Solids Handling Pond Pump. This year I want to purchase a filter to go with it. I am looking at the Laguna Pressure-Flo with UVC filter. My question is, what size filter? My pond is 1000 gallons in full sun with high load of fish. I see there are filter sizes like PF1400 and PF2100. Is this a good filter? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

It is better to over filter than under filter . Check to see what pump specs the filters require.

The PF2100 filter specs are 1000GPH. Will my Aquaforce 1000 be enough? I realize you loose a little with height of filter to pump. I just want to buy right and not have to get another pump later.

It may not be enough because you have to factor in head height and any restrictions along the hose .Meaning elbows or turns and how long the hose is and high high water has to travel to the filter

Maybe check with Laguna . I have a pressurized filter too and was told there was a limit on the GPH it could handle.
