Hey,
I would like to build a natural pond (c.20m2 water surface without fish) and am currently looking for the right technical equipment. It is important to me that the products are of high quality and that I have good service in case of problems. Basically, it's about the 1) pressure filter and the 2) pond pumps that I need for the construction. Here I see products from e.g. Heissner, Tetra Pond, Oase, Aquascape, or Velda (to name a couple).
I'm not interested in the exact technical features of certain products, but more in the overall picture (quality, customer service, etc.). Do you have any recommendations and experiences regarding the manufacturers above, or are there others?

I like Laguna for pumps as they are more power efficient. I have used Pondmaster brand also and had one for over 15yrs that worked great. Have a Danner pond aerator which is good also. Those companies are highly rated also. I have used Webb's online site to purchase and they are said to provide good service and have sales and not bad pricing. I have never had to call them tho to replace or fix anything yet.

Hello and welcome!

So no fish, and a “natural” pond. Does this mean it won’t have a liner? Are you planning to add plants, make it a wildlife pond…..? If no liner (natural bottom), then all you may need is a pump with a fountain-head…..to keep the water aerated. Sorry, but I can’t help you with brands. Probably a lot will depend on how you plan to use it. Not sure if “natural” ponds need filtration so much as they need to keep the water moving.
