Found this on the web, thought it was pretty cool. What kind of pond art/statuary does everyone have in or around their pond?

Nothing really, but I have this frog playing a violin statue that was my great grandma's that I have stashed on the other side of my house that I may try to incorporate after I redo my pond. I'm not a big fan of it and its chipped but might find some way to add it.

I also have a frogs-on-branch solar light that I keep next to my stream. (and an old Oriole on a stick) that you can see in this old pic.

Addy that last pic looks like they were made from compressed tanks screw on lids like an old helium tank or acetylene tank. Is that what they are?

Addy, I love your little lizards. They reminded me I do have a couple other things. But they come inside during the winter. I love talavera pottery. I really like my little lizard that hangs on the front wall of the little pond house. I haven't put them out yet this year.

I picked them up in Old Town Sand Diego, one of my favorite places.

Yes is was some guy my late hubby ran into that made things out of tanks, he just stood on the side of a road to sell them. The cuts outs are from a tank, the lizard, arrows and sun like thing. The wind chime is made of the screw on lids. He did neat work.
I have a real neat gong that is a very heavy tank (the cut outs came from it) Too dark to go outside and get a pic of it right now.

I've been thinking about this for a while, I've seen so many Buddha statues used in pond. As a Buddhist, it doesnt really bother me but I wont do that for my pond/garden. I'm wondering why Buddhist/Zen/Tao statue is popular for pond/garden decorations and not many other religion? Is it because it gives off the calm feeling? Or may be I'm just not recognize the other religion's pond/garden decoration (which could be).

Good thing about here Lou is we have no poison snakes on this side of the mountains. Other side has rattlers that won't think twice about biting
