Is it the 20 mil it does have to be protected fro uv ray but I have taken a couple of those liners out and they say the last 10 to 15 years .And most of these liners looked pretty good after 8 to 10 years old .They were smaller ponds and 1 was a pondless water feature .Some use billboard sign stuff billboard/pondliner /

THEYRE A BAD INVESTMENT! I HAVE A 20 X 20 30MIL LLDPE LINER YOU CAN HAVE FOR CHEAP. BRAND NEW IN PACKAGING.LLDPE stands for linear low density polyethelene.

I use it for a pond-less rock bubbler... it basically lines and helps run water back to a reservoir, but the whole thing is covered with pebbles and it's been 3 years and ok for that.

It can be stiff and hard to use .,The thinner stuff is more flexible .But not sure how long it will last .If you look at all the pics the sides are sloped when they use it
