Plumbing Question

I am going to rehab my pond this spring. I want to re-plumb from the skimmer to the waterfall with 2 inch pipe. I am currently running 1-1/2 inch pipe. My pump has a capacity of 4800 gph. There is a 5 foot rise to the falls. If I do this, will I get more flow of water over the falls?

larger pipe offers less resistance and more capacity to water flow....always an improvement in flow....

agree with koiguy, you should get more flow due to less resistance in the pipe.
