please help someone

not sure if this is the right place to put this but i have a picture that shows what i'm working with, its not huge but i would love reccomendations.
i would like a waterfall of some kind and the ability to keep goldfish healthily (not wide enough for koi unfortunately)
thanks in advance.
note - its only about 2.5ft wide

If you get really cold weather and it freezes most go 4 ft but if you can buy a heater for it or take your fish inside you can get away with 2 feet .Not sure of your winter temps there .Here our average is 55 degrees

Welcome!

Were you planning to dig down, or is it going to be totally above ground? If you could dig down, it would be better for the fish to have the extra depth (keeps them cooler in the summer, and keeps them from freezing in the winter if your temps get that low). That little spot looks very nice for a pond. If I was a fish, I'd want to live there :)

So the pond is going where the grass is, yes? I would make a waterfall on the corner. All you need is a bucket full of rocks with a lip to allow the water to flow back into the pond. Somethig like this....
