I ordered this because it was recommended for gluing the pond liners together. But it says not recommended for underway use.

Kind of like a waiver not being held responsible if it doesn't work. Lots of folks have used it underwater including myself to reinforce a patch like they did in this video at 2:17.

If you are joining two liners together; though, I believe best practice would be to use seaming tape.

I use it all of the time for under water fixes, sealant. Never have used it for putting two liners together.

It is Not for bonding seams the glue/ primer and uncured rubber are for seaming . then you can use pl 30 for sealing the lap joints or under a mechanical gasket. such as a main drain or gromitt from a return jet or skimmer

or a hole!
I fixed a hole I put in the 1000 gallon stock tank when I went to move it with my tractor. Stuck the prong right through it.
I sealed it years ago and still holding. Around a two inch hole.

Good stuff, but I'm sure the Home Depot black one I bought said ok for underwater?
