So I was at Lowe's last night getting some pond building supplies and was going to get a tube of PL Roof Flashing Sealant as I have read in the forums it is good for sealing around bulkheads and the like. Looking at the tiny words on the side of the tube it read, "Not Recommended For: Underwater applications or permanent water immersion." This web site notes the same - http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/pl...-S30-Polyurethane-Roof-&-Flashing-Sealant.htm. I glanced around but didn't see any other similarly named products. Was I looking at the wrong thing?

Aquarium sealant is a viable alternative...why would someone chose one over the other?

Thanks,
Randy

Aquarium sealer is overpriced "100% silicone seal".

I tried it with mixed results. Cutting rubber washers from EPDM pond liner works better for me.

I need to see if I can order some. It will be two weeks till I get out of town. Hmm have friends going to Amarillo will see if they can get some at Home Depot.

It is polyurathane based. Wonder if polyurathane wood glue could be used.
