Pink caterpillar/larvae, 2 long, Aquatic? What is it?

This ugly thing appeared in my 2-month old small wildlife pond. What in earth is it? Should I worry about it? I don’t have fish. I live in Wales, U.K.,

Looksike a tomato horn worm, not sure why it would end up in a pond

Thanks! I looked up several caterpillars and that was one I looked at, but because it was in my pond I thought it must be aquatic! As you say, maybe a bird dropped it. Thanks for answering!
