Problems with PH in your pond ???
A good way to sort this out in an emergancy is to employ a PH pill.
Buy some Near Pure Plaster of Paris take a pudding bowl and half fill the bowl with plaster of Paris.
Add just enough water to start a reaction and mix, let the plaster of Paris set for 48 hours then turn out of bowl.
You can make as many of them as you like and store until a PH emergancy, then all you nead do is add a number to your pond and your Ph will level out at 7-7.5 as the pill disolves
If you need it to disolve faster simply add bicarb of soda to the mix prior to adding water then do as before, the Plaster of Paris will become honeycombed with bubbles and will disolve at a faster rate
