pelican carvings

I cut down my 2 cypress trees i planted in my bog years ago because the roots were starting to mess with my pavers
tmann posted a pic of a chain saw pelican , and it made me want one
So I watched a you tube video a few times and just went at it saturday
I got about 8 hr saw time in on the 2 birds,
i still have a way to go before i would call it done

My saw is a Stihl ms 170. The saw dust is deep
It could of been my technique lol

LOL .. hubby loves his Stihls ... 460 and 362 here ... hubby says your technique is called "WOT" (wide open throttle) ...
