I did and i think it is in my showcase .Not sure if it was before I rebuilt the pond or after .

You can use fiberglass window screening and sew it with fishing line by hand and it lasts longer .The landscape fabric ones did not hold up very long .I also made window screen pocket plant holders .

window screening won't but the plants will so no matter what you will loose water .Even that rock on a roll will wick up some water .My neighbor found that out .Plants grew into so can't really blame the product .Natural look I guess you have to expect some of that no matter what .Just part of ponding .

I'm regretting putting in a rubber lining for my pond.
Knowing what I know now, I would have put in a bentonite liner instead.
A bentonite liner would hve allowed for planting native plants around the edge.

@MitchM - I feel a pond makeover coming! haha!

I wouldn't waste money on this product. You can do the same by planting along the edge of the pond with a ground cover. It may take time to fill in, but it will eventually and will look more natural.
